We are still working on a permanent solution to the issue at hand.

If there are any Sky users that use Macintosh OS X that are currently available to help us work on this, please send me a PM. We will need to be able to either call you or talk to you using Skype (www.skype.com), and you may need to install some debugging software on your computer to help us out.

Adding thanks from thegorum's sky users also. One thing we have noticed with the fix, if you have http links to other forum pages in your footers and headers they will need to have the 8080 added to the url. It has no impact on non sky users.

Yeah, many thanks to those who have worked to get this sorted. A temporary fix is better than no fix at all.

I have informed all members at the Boards I run and the Forum I am an Mod on to let either you know or tell me and I'll post here for them.

Unfortunately this isn't working for me at all, I cannot access any of my proboard forums.
This started a couple of days ago, and yesterday and today they just won't load at all.
I have contacted SKY and was on the phone for over an hour....they gave all sorts of excuses and still didn't leave me with a valid one or any clearer on this fault!
This is very frustrating.

hi i am new to this Forum.

I am a SKY user well since last friday. and have the issue of cant get on the forums that are through proboards. i have tried using the :8080 fix and have no luck cant with that.

been on the Phone to sky all morning and thay claim it a issue with proboards and i need to wait for a fix from proboards.

any help would be great.

Just a heads up to say that my forum is now working WITHOUT the :8080 workaround.

Not sure if PB have done anything or Sky themselves but is definitely working. I thought perhaps Firefox had cached an old page or something so I tried it on IE, Opera, Chrome, my Aino web browser and the PS3 web browser and each one loads the forum without the :8080

Not sure who to thank. I'm just greatful, regardless and I hope everyone else gets access to their forum pretty soon too.

Well it worked for a few minutes. Not sure if its just a bit flakey getting back up to service.
