A:M/C - Ad Free Error ~ Please Help ASAP

This is the error I get when trying to purchase credits. I've tried going through the Admin page, as well as using the link at the bottom of the page. I am always led back to this error page. The url for the error page is:

www.proboards.com/adfree-signup.cgi?www.theshieldrap.proboards45.com

Please advise.

Do you see the "www" before your board's url? Take that out and use this:

www.proboards.com/adfree-signup.cgi?theshieldrap.proboards45.com

I think it's an error on the ProBoards part, I'm not sure exactly. But create a thread and let everyone know, that would be the best way to let everyone know.

Seriously, I am really happy with all the support I've recieved here on every topic. I'm new to moderating a board, new to proboards in general, and I have a relentless desire to know how all this works. Everyone here has been most patient with indulging my ignorance. ;D

This is, in my opinion, the best Support board on the net. We were all new at this once.

the www. should never have been in the URL to begin with, we only added support for it because of the ammount of people who thought their forums were missing because they added www.

you should have made a dialog box come up saying not to use the www anymore, and redirect to the forum without the www

Will proboably add something like that, though the problem is new users are forever adding www. since people seem to have this fixation with adding www. to the start of everything heh

So, is this something I have to fix on my own board, or not? How would I remove the extra www from that link? I am confused.... I'm sure you're shocked!! lol

When typing the URL just dont type the www. then clicking the link for ad free will work fine

With the exception of that the forum will work with the www. in, just its more "correct" for it not to be there

Do I have the ability to change that "To make this board ad free click here" link at the bottom of our board and on our Admin page?

Clicking on those links is what brought me to the error page in the first place.

Is there a way for me to change the link so I and our members do not get directed to the error page? Or is that something that proboards must change?

When you type in your board URL type in this theshieldrap.proboards45.com/

Do not type in www.theshieldrap.proboards45.com cause having the www in the link will get you that error message when trying to get to the ad free page.
