Header/Footer select not working

When I select anything in the rop down boxes, it just snaps back to the first and crashes. It's not the headers/footers for different skins, as i've ha dthat for ages. I can't try &NOHEADERS because that would mess up the different codes for skins code, and remove most codes from my board.

Any suggestions?
