You have dinner guests coming over .... you burn the main course, by accident ... Do you .... 1. Start over with something easy? Or ... 2. Order out and make it look like you cooked it?1. Start over with something easy, or my wife would. Would you entertain guests by singing or just a good old natter?

just a good old natter I think if I tried to sing, I would never see a guest as long as I live. Good old afternoon nap /or/ a nice walk in the park in the afternoon?

Good old afternoon nap (because I haven't been sleeping well lately).
You see a dog, likely stray, on your street looking through the garbage for food. What do you do?

As I love animals and was once in the RSPCA I would try and befriend the dog then check if it had a collar and maybe a disc with the name of the dog and owner (phone number etc) on the disc. If so, then I would take the dog home and look after it until I contacted the owner and they pick the dog up. If the dog was not friendly then I am afraid there is not much you could do. Maybe I would contact the RSPCA or others and inform them hoping they would come and pick the dog up. But the RSPCA and others are so busy that they more than likely would say just leave the dog and the local dog catchers would more than likely catch the stray dog and put it into a dog and cat home. Horrible option that one as if the dog is caught and placed into a dog and cat home and it could not be rehoused or the owner turned up then the poor dog would be put down.
Same situation really. If you seen a horse or pony in a field and it looked very poor (i.e. underfed) what would you do?

Cause I wouldn't know what to do myself about it. I hate seeing animals suffer cause of some stupid person no longer wanting to care for it. What would you do it you saw someone pass-out? Would you call 9-1-1 or go try and see if you can help first?

As I have a first aid certificate I would look at the person first and see if I could help and call 999 (here in the UK) at the same time just in case.
What would you do if you seen an animal trapped somewhere?

I guess that depends on where it's trapped and whether or not I could access or assess the animal. First thing, I suppose, would be to make sure it had water and food. Then I'd probably call for help while looking for clues on what's needed.
You have a packed lunch with you and you pass by someone poking through the trash for something. They don't see you. What would you do? Ask them if they needed help? Offer them your lunch? Or pass them by?

I am afraid too say that I would pass them by. My opinion is they should never have got in a position to do that anyway and also they might think you have money and are kind hearted then pull a knife or whatever else out and then threaten you to hand over whatever you have. It happens and you even see it in the news nowadays. It's sad you have to do that but it pays to be careful in today's times.
You win millions on the National Lottery. Would you let the whole world know and have your photo splashed all over the tabloid press and tv or tell the National Lottery people you would like anonymity from the media and keep quiet about it?

Caajscot (John), don't worry. I know a lot of people would do the same. It's sad that we have to worry about such things when it comes to helping other people. I even heard that some guy in NC shot a random reporter and cameraman and then shot himself; we can't even be safe when simply doing our own jobs! Anyway... I win the National Lottery? I would DEFINITELY keep quiet about it (and probably use a chunk of it to pay of a few loans and save another chunk of it). You have musician friends. Do you purchase their music through iTunes (where they get less of the profit but it's cheaper for you) or do you purchase it through Loudr or as a CD (where it may be more expensive to you, but they get more of the profits)?

Would not have a clue what iTunes or Loudr is. I would take a guess and say purchase it through Loudr or as a CD (where it may be more expensive to you, but they get more of the profits)?
Simple one really, if you had a lot of money what would you invest it in - stocks & shares or in the building industry?

I'm going to say walk. Yeah, it's a bit of a cheat since I have walked to work for a month, but I also don't have a bike. Which do you feel was a better movie trilogy? Lord of the Rings or Hobbit?
