So why do they still get air if they are so "bias"? Because there's a little thing called Freedom of the Press. ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png)

So why do they still get air if they are so "bias"? Because there's enough people who share the views of the commentators to keep them on the air. There's been a number of advertisers that have reportedly stopped airing ads on the network for specific shows mainly because of the bias; some of them include Holiday Inn, Nestle, Geico, UPS, Verizon, and Apple.

So because Fox isn't liberal, it automatically becomes inaccurate? Fox is one of my main News Sources. You can listen to and like a News Source and still admit it can be biased. There are very, very few Media sources that aren't at least a TINY bit biased in some form or another. Humans write the articles and therefore the article is more than likely swayed in one direction or another. Doesn't matter whose side they are on.

The Telegraph and the Guardian are "at least a TINY bit biased". Fox news is something else, to the point of being, in my mind, unreliable.

Here's the thing- bias is everywhere.
This is why people need to learn to read and view content from all across the spectrum and think for themselves.

This is why people need to learn to read and view content from all across the spectrum and think for themselves. this. people have opinions, even in the news business, and no matter how hard you try, some will seep through -- whether it be through wording, action, etc. How biased Fox is, well, that's up for you to decide; but don't just take your information from one source.

FOX News: We Propagandize, Because We Know Our Viewers Don't Want To Think For Themselves.
And maybe people tend to dislike FOX the most because of things like this:
Bit low, don't you think?

Then explain to me why you guys seem to dis Fox more than any other source? Is it because you don't agree with Fox (since they are conservative)? It's because: 1/ they're more obviously biased than most media. 2/ their supporters go to great lengths to tell us how balanced Fox is 3/ its way hypocritical of them to complain about anyone else being biased.

Like I said, if so many news shows are bias, why do you guys seem to be anti-Fox more than any other shows? If the news media were a prison Fox would the one imprisoned for life. Others would be for downloading an illegal movie or breaking and entering. Stuff like that. They are all convicts. There are degrees of bias and you don't have to be a rocket scientist to see that Fox News is the worst offender. Plus besides the bias they outright lie. More recent example they actually claimed they are the only ones who showed a clip when at least 7 other channels showed it too, most of them before them. www.thedailyshow.com/watch/thu-june-3-2010/glenn-beck-airs-israeli-raid-footage

Then explain to me why you guys seem to dis Fox more than any other source? Is it because you don't agree with Fox (since they are conservative)? The problem is is that there are many, many sources for liberal news. You have CNN, MSNBC, New York Times and most blogs and news sites on the internet. They all check each other in that if one gets too outrageous, then the viewer/reader will switch to a new one. However, Fox News is one of a handful (if that) of conservative news sources (the others being owned by Roger Ailes). It's like any other monopoly. They can do whatever they want because people have limited options, and they've very good at telling their viewers what they want to hear. That's also why they can say that they're the most watched news program on TV. Democrats are split between CNN, MSNBC and (let's be honest) The Daily Show, while the Republicans only have Fox News.
