BILLIONAIRE CASHES OUT!

Local village billionaire Patrick Clinger was found dead this morning on his estate just outside of town. The richest villager is now the most recent in a string of murders. This photo was taken at the scene of the crime.



From what villagers can tell Patrick had gone insane, a possible scapegoat for the angry mob he even voted for himself yesterday. On his desk they found hundreds of sheets of paper with the sentence, "They must get back to work" scribbled over and over again. Upon further investigation it was discovered that Patrick was poisoned. A glass of diet coke was tainted with a rare poison. From what villagers can gather Patrick must have realized he had ingested the poison because he cut open his palms and wrote the message "Everyone is mafia" on the wall of his office in blood. Patrick's top hat, bag of money, helicopter and castle will be up for auction this weekend.

This is the first the village has heard of a mafia. Is it possible there is a group of evil doers in our midst?

The game enters Day 3. Everyone wakes up and votes.

*wakes up* Aww, Patrick. Sad to see him gone, but he really did have a big target on his back. Plus, what Alex said didn't help Patrick's reputation.

I think we left off still with big suspicions of Ren. If Ren was a mafia member, idk if they'd kill Patrick... but they're probably using some convoluted triple-reverse psychology.

Whoa... so Patrick isn't the scapegoat? Just a regular villager? Fair is foul and foul is fair.

I wasn't guessing Pat as mafia (i don't know why) but yesterday almost had me. I wonder why the mafia killed him when they knew we would most likely kill him today...at least i was ready to vote for him...

I think that they might be trying to get us to kill Ren...but it wasn't what i would have done...this game has me totally confuzled

I was kind of thinking along the same lines. Are we 'supposed to' vote for Ren? Which will make us not do that, when we actually should. I guess the mafia likes double-reverse psychology.

Well that is what we did when i was mafia...it works

I don't think we should kill Ren...at least not today. But who else? Ren is a logical choice but my guess is that the mafia want us to kill her...so should we randomly pick someone or just kill her?

I am going to have to say that killing Ren is probably not our best plan, even though it was the person I was prepared to lynch today. hmmm...I'll have to look over my notes to find some clues...

What would the mafia have against Patrick? If anything, his only contribution to the game was getting us to argue and end up lynching our own detective. It seems like the mafia would want him alive, if anything.
