I'll admit I did that in the past. but that was because I didn't understand the importance of a team. my Typhlosion from the original is a good example. Lvl 96 (I think), then the closest to that is my Lvl 70 Ho-Oh and 65 Snorelax.

Lol, ya, I usually do this in all the games.. Though, the lower Pokemon do end up coming to the bigger guy's level eventually, whether it be by ActionReplay or by grinding the Victory Road xD (ARDS ftw :3)

I used an AR on Pearl. infinite Rare Candies. I left them all at 80 though, so it was only about ten levels I used on each.

I'm training my team for a second go around with the elite four, currently I have:
Resiram - Level 59
Samurott - Level 60
Victini - Level 58
Archeops - Level 60

I'm thinking if I can find someone to do a wifi trade with to evolve Gurdurr, I will level him and going with either one of the following:

Terrakion
Kyurem
Virizion
Cobalion

Any suggestions?

you're going to want a fire pokemon for the third gym, since Blitzle's Flare Charge won't cut it. Unless you get t up a few more levels.

Now heading out for Victory road after getting my 8th badge. I'm very exited about how the story will go concering team plasma.

Emboar lvl 53
Gothitelle lvl 42
Zebstrika lvl 43
Cobalion lvl 42
Virizion lvl 42

My 6th spot is filled with a low lvl Tranquill for the use of Fly. Don't know yet what will replace it for the elite 4.

no problem. when i challenged it, i kept hitting them and there was still about 10 HP left on them.

So I finally just got access today to the Liberty Pass... Has anyone else caught Victini? How many tries did it take for you? It took me two tries and over 30 pokeballs and greatballs.

EDIT: That was until I of course accidentally pressed my gamecard out of the socket and never saved. So now I must go do it again.

EDIT: Okay it took me the same for the second time.

if you made it faint, i think you could just re-enter the cave it was in and it would be back. thats what i heard >.>

haha yeah but i found with my rollenroga it's rock smash or throw or w/e worked well on the first the curled up bug one haha then my blitzen thing got rid of the second tall thing

Got it on launch day, I just so happened to be next door to a Game Stop.

Been playing off and on since. Started out with my Oshawott and now its fully evolved. Along with my team of random 40 level team, like Victini and Zebstrika. About to take on the last gym pretty soon.

I heard this was going to be cool, sure some aspects I don't like. But the story line is way different. I do miss the pokemon following you, like they did in HeartGold & SoulSilver. It threw me through a loop when your pokemon's eyes closed when they fell asleep, so the graphics are amazinggg.

Anyways, expectations were low, but since playing it. I have changed my mind.
