C++ Win32 Static Control [Done]

Hey,

In Win32, im wanting to change the colour of the text in the static control depending on what is in the text box.

Example:
If the control contains the text Yes then the text colour is a green colour and if the control contains the text No then the text colour is red.

Is there anyway of grabbing the text from the control?

Thanks for offering to help but I found a way to get the text from the control:

HWND hEditWnd;
       
       char text_from_box[_MAX_PATH+1];
       
       hEditWnd = GetDlgItem(hwnd, TEXT_YESNO); // TEXT_YESNO is the id of the text box
       GetWindowText(hEditWnd, text_from_box, _MAX_PATH);
