you type in what genre/type of message board you want into the proboards google database thing

then it gives you a list with all those key words and like shows how many members posts etc etc

There have been talks about a searchable database for a long while now. I'm sure it'll be a reality at some point. We'll just have to wait and see when and all that.

Yeah because when you make a proboard it says what key words do you want to classify your board about - e.g entertainment

so surely it should link to some kind of PBS database xDD

it'd be a good idea hah, make searching for boards a lot easier! x

I think that category was originally for getting relevant ads, before Google AdSense started trying to figure everything out on its own. It's certainly too limited on its own... I don't think I've ever had an easy time choosing one of those, and always ended up picking Entertainment or Technology or whatever.

there's somewhat of a database in the mobile app, but not every forum is in it. I know I forgot to put mine in. The only problem with a database are all the dead forums that will fill it. it'd be hard to sort out which ones to keep in and take out. unless it was all done by page view popularity.
