What do you do when....

....you make a thread and nobody replies to it?

I don't often have that problem, but a topic I thought was interesting the other day only got one reply, so it got me wondering how everyone else reacts. do you try to bump your thread, or beg people to post in it, or just hope that nobody notices it slowly dropping away ;d

When this happens to me, I assume it means I've reached a little too far in my attempt to make an interesting thread, and instead I've posted something strange that people either won't understand the way I do or they just have no idea what kind of response to give. I make a mental note to try making a more accessible thread the next time. ;D

mostly when I post threads it's to get something off of my chest or to ask what others do when they're in the some situation x] no life or death situations. If you REALLY want your thread to be replied to, mention religion somewhere, that's always a very good conversation starter >.>

I get awkward, but I tend to just let it disappear into oblivion. I actually get more uncomfortable when I post in a popular thread and then kill it. I hate doing that.
