Going down this thread was very nostalgic.... i remember the good ole' days and i remember a few of your names still.

You guys are so right. I remember when I first joined ('05!) I hardly knew anything about photoshop. I had a hacked trial CS2 then! I just re-discovered this place and started making a new forum and it's very clear the designer presence is lacking.

I don't really do web-based design anymore, but it certainly led me down a more creative route. So thanks to whoever started this thread for nostalgic purposes

... Except nowadays I use my knowledge of many PS tricks to like... crop a photo.... creatively.

Nowadays I'm training for ball, so I don't laze around as much in front of a computer screen as much as I used to. When I do sit down, though, sometimes I crank out something for old time's sake. Lol.

I remember those times it seems so long ago and I was young like 14ish so I wasn't really getting into graphics but I was into learning about creative arts. I wish I could have the graphic designers who created vectors and things from scratch rather than take images and smash them on top of each other and called it a day. i think vanilla occharid was the biggest graphic designer and now...its no one.
