Outbreak 2 : Zompocalypse
STORY
Evil Corp was unable to keep a lid on the events that happened in the town of Brindol, South Dakota. A small group of survivors had gone public, telling their story to the world. While in the state capitol, in the middle of the investigation into Evil Corp, something happened. People started reporting a sickness spreading city-wide. You are a person feeling healthy, but all around you people are dying. The stories you saw on the news about zombies in Brindol seem to be affecting your city.
RULES
Play happens in 24 hour rounds.
Once every 24 hours the game master (Ryan) will post.
Survivors (players) will be given a random "card" every round.
Additional random cards may be placed on the map each round.
Types of Cards
Nothing - Nothing happens.
Zombie - A number of zombies (one to four) start following you. All the zombies you collect follow only you.
Action/Effect - Something will happen. Some allow survivors to make a choice (choices must be made by the next round or they don't happen, others will happen at random if not made in time).
Item - These help you achieve goals. Items with a *POW* are weapons. For every weapon a player has they may choose to kill up to that number of zombies following you every round. There are only one of each item so if another player has it, you'll need to stick close to them and hope the zombies get them.
Goal - You can only have one goal at a time. New goals override your old goals.
Moving
Every round players have the option to move 1 square on the map. Players may only move vertically or horizontally (not diagonally). Moving has the advantage of finding and looting unclaimed items. Also cards with choices usually only affect players near your current location, so if your strategy is to mess up another player you'll need to stay close to them. When moving the proper format is A1>A2.
Looting
Looting happens when there are unclaimed items in a square (either from cards or players dying). The first person in a square to post what item they want gets it. Moving into squares with unclaimed zombies in them will cause the zombies to follow you. (If multiple people enter a square in the same round the zombies will split as evenly as possible, the first players receiving more in uneven splits). You may only loot one item per round.
Posting
Players can post everyday or not. They can post a move, loot a single unclaimed item, make a choice, or just talk (or role-play what's happened to them). You can do all or none of these things.
Losing the Game
Every round players have a chance to die. This is based on the number of zombies following them. 1% chance per zombie. If a player dies they drop all of their items in the square on the map they were in. Also any zombies that were following them occupy that square until another survivor (or survivors) come into the square.
Winning the Game
Once you have a goal you just need to meet its requirements. Once you have done so you have successfully escaped the city. There will be only 3 winners.

FAQ
When the game starts all players will be given a random location in the city.
Ignore the first game (except for the story). All the rules for this game are above.
(So that means no titles, and no posting format like last time. Make up your own job and story if you like.)
If you don't receive a goal card then you currently have no goal. You'll just need to wander until you get one.
Yes, you can keep your characters from the last game.
There is no night time (like the last game) just the rounds happening. I might say at some point that the sun has set or it starts raining, etc.
You can use weapons to kill zombies following other players that are in the same square on the map as you (to help or hurt them, some goals require zombies). I will also allow players to trade items (only items and it must be a one for one trade). You can't attack other players directly, just impede them with choice cards or kill their zombie to hurt their goal, or steal an item before they can get to it, or refuse to trade with them.
Don't name your zombies. Also there is one named zombie (Larry coincidentally) and you can't win if he's following you regardless of your goal.
It's assumed you are constantly escaping the horde that follows you until you are finally killed or win.
Circles on the map are whatever you want them to be. Outbreak radius, a giant target for a bomb, whatever.
No, the colors mean nothing relevant to the game, just there for artistic purposes. They denote the types of districts is all.
Disclaimer : I'm using a game called Zombie Flux for most of my basis of this game. If you like the style of this and want a similar type of card game you can play with friends, I recommend it.
