Thanks for the tips guys the only things is alot of the programs do not work withmy laptop as they are not compatible with Linux.

Thanks for the tips guys the only things is alot of the programs do not work withmy laptop as they are not compatible with Linux. Don't worry about it. Like I said, you can do most of the things with Gimp that you can with PSP. Just don't let it limit you and think outside the box! Tutorials teach you a lot about tools and techniques. I'd suggest even doing the ones you don't think you'll need to use, because the techniques in them will most likely be useful at some point. Learning how to make a 3D orb helped me with shading anime eyes even though those two things are completely unrelated. The biggest thing is just to have fun with it. (: Best of luck to you!
