No, it really isn't. localhost is PHP practice space. A free webhost is practice space. Both of those are your best options and far more likely to happen than getting a subdomain from someone. Take what you can get, mate...don't do this "I'm holding out for something better" routine. Couldn't resist, moving on now. That gif entertains me to no end. I may have found my new favorite animated image.

I can give you a spot on my reseller if you just register a .co.cc or cz.cc domain..

OP, quit being a douche. Your question was answered in the very first reply: 000webhost. I agree that a localhost is no good mainly due to how difficult it is to forward ports. I did that on my router, and it simply ignored it. It is impossible to forward ports on that piece of crap. It has a setting and everything, but it just ignores it 100% of the time. Bleh! However your response is pretty immature. And nobody is going to give you free hosting on their paid accounts. Get a free public host. There are millions. 000webhost is a great one. And you're going to have trouble finding someone to let you use a sub-domain. In most cases, a sub-domain still has access to all the files on a person's server, thus you could wreak havoc. Edit: Thus, a free host is your best bet. Really ? I thought you guys were good at making things secure on a ftp account I've offered kenneth a subdomain via ftp with its own username/pass. It depends on the server setup. Many aren't set up to prevent subdomains from accessing other subdomains, since 99.9% of their users are going to be accessing other subdomain data from their own subdomains, instead of distributing subdomains to outside parties. Also can't you secure/hide files? I know 777 is either making them hidden or writable. -_-

Yeah really I'm the one being the douche? My question was if someone could give me a subdomain, not to post a link from a website someone just needs to chill out.

Yeah really I'm the one being the douche? My question was if someone could give me a subdomain, not to post a link from a website someone just needs to chill out. After everything everyone has said, you're not just gonna pick one? You're the one that needs to calm down, and find a free host. No one is going to give you free, premium space with a sub-domain on their site. That's a very dangerous thing if people know what they're doing. So either you should just go with a free site, or not at all. My two cents :3 Charles: +1
