Decided to make a new signature for killzone 3 - since I'm in the Exo BC squad in my clan, my theme decision was pretty easy.
I started with this picture:

I decided that the height was too big; but if I was to shorten it, the soldier would be only half there. I wanted to have at least the soldier's elbow in the pic to give it a "full" feel. What I had to do was remove the soldier from the background, and move him up. BUT that made the gun's laser totally off. SO i repaired that line as to remove it completely.
I added the text next, that was easy - outer glow, inner shadow, etc.
Then the border. I didnt want a solid border, and always liked dissipating backgrounds. SO i decided to make the clouds fade. I'm not sure 100% if I like how i did it; the clouds do look a little funny.
I would like any constructive criticism ya have, especially on what I should change about the background.

edited to say: I made it for a forum that has a dark BG - kinda looks funny on a light one.
