Or even better Patrick change your vote. If you think I'm mafia, which you have said numerous times in PMs and text messages, what is the harm in switching your vote? You could deal the killing blow to me. Or are you afraid it would reveal you?

If I'm mafia you win right? If I'm the doctor you've already negated my ability to save people so whats the problem with eliminating me entirely? So whats the risk unless you're mafia?

Dalita cast her vote at 2:22pm ET, which was the fourth vote needed to lynch. Ren edited her post at 2:32pm ET and posted her vote change at 2:31pm ET, nine minutes after the round ended. Since we had already reached a majority before Ren changed her vote, Alex is dead and the day is over.

Villager Rage Sets New Record
Long, Heated Argument Ends in Long, Heated Argument

Following the deaths of several villagers, a heated confrontation arose among several of the survivors, many of whom brandished red stars (red with blood, perhaps?). During this heated exchange of accusations and alliances, the village set a local record for the most arguing to ever occur in one afternoon. The Guinness Book of World Records has confirmed the record, and an entry along with a photograph of the village will appear in the 2012 edition of their official publication. Oh yeah, and Alex the detective got killed.

"Mafia" Plans Nearing Fruition
Fifth Villager Dies in Mysterious Circumstances of Some Sort

Investigations by the village's rather slow-to-act police force have uncovered a startling pattern. Apparently there are two villagers who consider themselves to be the "Mafia," and these two plan to overrun the town by killing every last villager for some reason. Unfortunately, they were unable to figure out who these two Mafia members actually were, and retired to playing Pac-Man instead for the remainder of the afternoon and evening.

If these reports are correct, then only three non-Mafia members remain following villager Patrick Clinger's gruesome death last night, the details of which are so grotesque that they will not be recounted here. Should this Mafia kill even one more villager today, the town will effectively be theirs.

In lighter news, scientists have discovered a new strain of e-coli that can kill you and your loved ones while devouring your home and all your possessions as you sleep! The bacteria appears to have been developed by some sort of scientists, perhaps evil ones, located in this very village. Like the newspaper guy said, the Mafia is close to winning, as it's currently 3-2. The villagers will need to kill a Mafia member today, otherwise the balance will fall to 2-2, resulting in an instant Mafia win.

Since Alex was the detective, Ren is definitely a villager. I'm 80% sure Ryan's the doctor, otherwise the real doc would've probably anticipated Patrick's mafia assassination and saved him. So that just leaves me, Dalita, Soren, and Ryan with a meager 20% chance (imo). Unless I'm missing something?

Yeah so basically, we need to kill a mafia member today or else were screwed.

At this point, I am very inclined to believe Ryan is mafia based on the craziness that happened at the office yesterday. He tried SO hard to get people to vote with him yesterday. Then, when things didn't go his way he made a radical move and tried to get everyone to vote for him. He claimed he was mafia probably knowing that people wouldn't believe that the real mafia would come forward like that. I believe that this was a ploy to make people believe that he wasn't actually mafia. It all looks very sketchy. Especially now that we know Pat was a villager, I am more inclined to believe his logic from yesterday.

Anyways, what do the rest of you think?

Well now that Patrick completely screwed everyone over with his plan instead of playing it smart with the majority and trusting his allies here's how I see it.

Ren Rudner - Villager
Ryan Roos - Doctor

Chani - ?
Søren - ?
Dalita - ?

It comes down to comple chance with bad odds.

We have a 66% chance of killing a mafia member assuming that the remaining villager votes with Ren and I. Of course if we vote and kill the villager then the Mafia win the game instantly (Thanks Pat).

So 33% chance we lose today.

If we stalemate today we lose tonight. Luckily the mafia can't directly cause the stalemate. Because the villager would have to be our target in order for them to even attempt it, and at the point we've already lost.

Assuming we kill a mafia member today then there would be only two remaining mystery players. One of them is mafia and that person will try to kill one of us remaining 3 tonight. I likely wont be able to prevent the death from happening (thanks again Pat). It will either be Ren or myself to give them a better chance tomorrow.

So assuming they succeed tomorrow would have 2 of us vs 1 of them. The problem is, Ren or myself, whoever remains won't know which person to trust. They will each vote for each other leaving it down to a 50% coin flip for the villagers to win.

So essentially all of Patrick's stupid planning and math for the villager win was completely made up crap. He had an alliance of 4 people, 2 with special powers, in a 7 player game. We controlled the board. We could vote for any of the other 3 and guarantee a lynch. That was out plan and he stabbed us all in the back. All of you be aware to never trust him regardless of position in a future game. Even if you are all mafia together I would suggest killing Patrick the first night in future games. No integrity.

He'll tell me on Monday when he gets back from vacation that he did it just to rile me up. Meaning he was intentionally being a jerk. Remember that when he tries to befriend you in future games.

Honestly it's a hat toss for me. I will wait to either see who Ren wants to vote for or I will post a vote later if she wants to PM me and discuss it.

EDIT : Just saw Ren's post. Ren if you think I'm mafia then vote for me. Best possible outcome to teach Pat he lost the game by being a jerk. I will vote for whoever you do including myself.

That does sound really shady and it's all we have to go on now. I don't know if we should jump on that decision just because of that, though, because this is our final chance. I'd ask that, if someone else is doctor, for them to come out right now, but we wouldn't know if they were mafia anymore than we know if Ryan is.

I'll trust your judgment, Ren. Wherever you go with this, I'll follow. This is my first time and I didn't personally see how Ryan was acting yesterday.

EDIT: Just went back and read posts. That could just be him being genuinely frustrated with Patrick. But I'll trust your judgment. All up to you, Ren, unless anyone else has an opinion?

Not that I really super care at this point but it has already been clarified that the detective found that I was not mafia. Ren should be able to easily confirm this by memory since Alex is the one who told her.

I feel no need to defend any craziness yesterday. I was simply trying to make a point to Patrick that betraying your allies for absolutely no reason hurts the game. Luckily for me that message was sent loud and clear without me dying to prove it. And now he's dead, so lets move on. Some one vote *looks at Ren*.
