HTML Links

Hi,
I have used a help page on HTML external links but im having no joy trying to put them on my forum.

For example, if I want to link to the main proboards support page on here I am placing the following directly into the post;

<a href="http://support.proboards.com">proboards</a>

In doing so im just wanting a link on the post saying "proboards". Where am I going wrong or is it something to do with my forum settings!?

You must use UBBC in a post.
