I think it would be nice if there was an option to have the categories and the posts split. I really like these features of forums. And I have seen them used on quite a few forums. So I hope this is good enough to put in. Thanks Proboards Staff for all the hard work you guys are putting in to make the best forum out there.

Even with your example I'm still not understanding. Categories are already split by default. See v5.proboards.com/And posts are just a styling thing in your example. Easily achievable in v5.

Yeah it's just a styling thing. You can easily split the posts apart visually.

V5 gives you access to the coding of each page, so you can style the posts any way you can in V4 and many more ways beyond that.

So will it be easier or no? Cause right now. To get my post splitter to work, I had to get Wormo edit like 3 different codes just to get it to work correctly. Just wondering lol

Just wondering lol The codes have to edit existing styles. With V5, you can change the actual styles. It should be easier. If you are not familiar with CSS, it may take some help from someone else, but it shouldn't require as much effort, no.

I know a bit of CSS. What exactly would you do with CSS to make it do what I wnat? At this time I am not sure what would be needed exactly, but you would want to set the spacing between the posts, and then add any border/background images needed to add the visual effect.

So would you be able set a head/mid/base image for each? or would have to be a background image?
