Does anyone know how to get a thing at the top of this site: thedarksiders.proboards.com/index.cgi that says Welcome, Staff, and Affiliates and then you can click on them and show info below? One more thing, on the same site above there is like almost a welcome table but it is a side table, it says welcome and then there is a scrollbar that has information in it. Could anyone tell me how to do that?

This is more of a coding question, really. That table you mention first is a dynamically tabbed table, and the one on the side bar is a scrolling div. Just put the div where you would normally put text, and fill out any information you want to scroll between the div tags. Hope this helps! :]

Where do you put the code? global headers/footers? main header/footer?

Also with the scrolling bar, how do you put it where you want it? I can't figure out where I should put it in the side table.

For the first: put the code wherever you want it to appear! GLOBAL if you want it everywhere, MAIN if you want it on non-posting pages, or BOARD if you want it just in a specific board. HEADER if you want it on top, FOOTER if you want it on the bottom.
For the second: As I already said: "Just put the div where you would normally put text, and fill out any information you want to scroll between the div tags." So find the place where you have regular text in the side table, replace that text with the div tags, then put the text you want to appear scrolling between the div tags.
Make sense? :]

I put the code in the main headers and global headers and it still never showed up. Nothing showed up.
Also on the side tables, in the site that I posted in my first post<<<Do they just have the image as a background of a side table and then put Welcome in some kind of font?

forget the first line^^^^^but how will I make my own code. He only gives us bits and pieces which I have no idea where to put them and stuff. Could you give me an example code that would be a code for the whole thing so I get an idea on what it looks like. I was thinking this:
first button: Welcome Second: Plot Third: Affiliates

If you looked at the code page, there should be a link to the table generator -- it will give you the full code, not just bits and pieces. If you don't understand how to use it, I recommend creating a thread in [coderequests] to ask for help. :]

It looks like the "welcome" text is a part of the image. :]

How do you insert the image in the side table? Is there a code for the whole side table to be like that?

It depends on how you make the image and what you want to achieve. Again, I definitely recommend you go to the [coderequests] board, since this is for graphics. :]
