Would it be possible for a member to search for all people in a specific group in the members list? And would it find everyone, even those people that choose not to have that rank displayed?

Groups and ranks are two different things. If you have the ability to view a group then yes, you can also see it's members displayed in a members list. The type of group determines if it can be viewed or not and by who. This is from the Member Group Global Moderators on the v5 forum. I clicked to view its members and was taken to this page. v5.proboards.com/members#view=group&group=2Ranks are public and can be sorted by on the regular Member's page. I went to the members page and clicked on the column for Rank. v5.proboards.com/members#dir=desc&sort=rankThere's no such option to have your rank be displayed or not.

Why is there no option in all the list of views that are view group? Because a forum could have 1000 groups. We can't list them all in the drop down of the Members page. Instead you go to a user's profile's groups page (or the group page directly, if you have access) and you view the members of that group. Here's the groups page of your profile. v5.proboards.com/user/171394/groupsI can see you're a beta tester. If I click on the 4,912 I can see all the members of your group.

Alright. Could i make my own members list? What I would use it for.. My forum is for a game. And we have Xbox 360 users and PS3 users. Could I make my own to have those 2 groups in their own tables, but on the same page?

Could I make my own to have those 2 groups in their own tables, but on the same page? You could certainly create two groups. One for 360 users and one for PS3 users. The Members page can only display one at a time. You could easily create a custom page where you link to each of the groups member lists. You could experiment with template modification, but what you're trying to accomplish sounds pretty advanced and I couldn't say for sure if it's possible or not. A member list is a lot more than just a list of names, there's a lot of data to sort (and paginate).

True. So I could do it, and just have two separate pages for it? If so, then that's perfectly okay. Could I add to the view list and add a view ps3 and a view 360 option.(2 separate) and have it link to that group page? Would it be possible through template modification have all the search options be removed, but only on the pages for xbox users and ps3 users?
I hope I made complete sense! And thanks Ryan for the time to answer my questions.

If you're going to remove (or hide things) on certain loads of the Members page you should use a code for that.
