User Names for Live Chat

What package should we purchase that will make our members sign in as themselves and not someone else. We noticed with the free version you could put whatever name you wanted in for your sign in. Please advice

We do not offer any paid chat services. Perhaps you are asking about AddOn Chat and should ask their support team?

In any event, v5 (which has a planned release by the end of year) will come with a built-in shoutbox that is perfectly integrated with the forum.

I'm one of those admins who thinks that live chat actually *detracts* from the activity level on the rest of the forum.

bluebayou As a new large feature we know that most admins will not want the chat to start. It's as simple as going into your admin panel and enabling the shoutbox for anyone who changes their mind.

With the current authentication of AddonChat with ProBoards you would need at least the Professional Plus edition to log members in automatically with their user and display names.
