I'm not sure if this has been asked to added in or not, but Moonbeam the other day pointed out something I'm sure that v5.
Since currently changing passwords to account removes that a/c from the Global listing. Is there anything in works for v5 version of the Global Login so that the changing passwords doesn't affect the listing and the account is still being shown?
If no one is understanding what I'm asking, please read this post

In v5 Global Accounts work completely different (behind the scenes) than the Global Login Beta you're using right now in v4. The Global Login Beta wont exist once v5 launches. It is a placeholder for the Global Network that will be part of v5. Right now the Global Login Beta manages multiple forum accounts, each with their own login and their own passwords. Because each forum requires its own username and password in v4. v4 doesn't track your Global Login, it only knows about your forum login. In v5 when you add accounts to your Global Account they become linked. The old passwords go away. You only have your main login with your email and global password. v5 tracks you by your Global Account, and manages all your accounts within it. I'll try to show a visual aide to explain this: V4 Global Login Beta | email login | global password | forum1 | username1 | password1 | forum1 | username2 | password2 | forum2 | username3 | password3 | forum2 | username4 | password4 | forum2 | username5 | password5 |
V5 Global Account | global email and password | forum1 | username1 username2 | forum2 | username3 username4 username5 |
So you can see how they store things differently. Individual forum passwords are not a concern in v5 because they do not exist. Hopefully that answers your question and alleviates any concerns you might have.

And, as Ryan pointed out earlier, your global email account is hidden, so in v5 crackers would have to be able to guess BOTH your global email address and global password in order to get into your global account. Much better security.

I understand what you mean now. It took a while to get it around my head - due to busy RL- but I understand it.
Thanks for explaining and clearing it up.
