Themes?

I'm a bit confused, and I probably asked these questions somewhere before, but I honestly can't find it again, and I have enough headaches with the search function already.

1) Love the beta release, and I think it looks snappy. However I'm a bit off put- on the earlier release, you (I think) were able to have a streamlined- but in the next skin there were sideboxes. I understand changing the color, but is the release going to have such a thing where I can manage to have a tabbed table in one skin, and another skin/theme with sideboxes?

The reason I'm putting up this question is the fact that in the new beta, they all have singular streamline layouts, nothing is changed or whatever, just from the colors. So I'm a bit worried what I've been told in the past by people might not be the same due to bugs or whatever.

2) With templates or with codes, we will be able to remove functions from the V5 area right? I see no need for it to be so integrated with the following/groups/gifts/friends, since well to be honest, it's a bit redundant on a small forum where everyone talks on the chatbox.

3) Are you able to remove the avatar maker if you wish? Or is it part of every standard forum? It's a bit distracting, and while can be a bit of fun, for those who require face claims or whatever, or use anime type pictures and the like, it's really just unneeded.

1) You can have different features in different themes. The best way to do this is to use plugins for your codes. Then you can set which themes the plugins work with. So for example, you could have a sidebar plugin. You can set it to work in theme 1 but not theme 2.

2) You can remove anything you want. Many features have an On/Off switch (like the Calendar). But anything else can be removed by modifying the templates.

3) You can remove the link to the avatar maker and any other related features by editing the templates.
