Blah, my fault, looks like I exported my dev one that I was testing.  It shouldn't be using a key at all.  I'll release an update later today to fix that.  Sorry.

Also, I don't think messages shouldbe collapsible, otherwise you would see just the title bars, which to me, doesn't look that good.  So what I plan to do is hide the message completely, and using the Yootil plugin bar, show a little icon there that will allow you to show them all again if needed.  This way it keeps the forum clean for the user.

So yeah, version 3 is being worked on, any more feature requests?

First I want to second the huge thank you as this is a great plugin! Possibly my favourite one.

Questions.
So will it be all messages or no messages? What about new messages admins put up will it automatically be shown? What if a message is edited? What's the yootil bar? This sounds less like collapse and more like dismiss..

I guess making a feature request for individual messages with titlebars to collapse clicking the titlebar and remember on a key won't help? (ones without a titlebar can just not collapse)

Messages will have an icon in the title bar, so each one can be hidden.  If there is any messages hidden, then the yootil plugin bar will show an icon (it's like the ProBoards network bar at the bottom right).  This will allow the user to show all the messages again.

If a message has no title bar, then it will remain visible to the user. 

I also plan to implement an option so that you can set if a message can be hidden or not.

No way to tell if a message has been edited or not.  I could check the length of the message and base it on that, but it wouldn't be 100% accurate.

Does this mean we'll have another floating box thing or does it tag on bottom right? Can we have the whole bar clickable rather than an icon? Will it be user specific or if I hide a message on one account will it be hidden or all accounts?

You know you want to make a divergant version with the collapsible titlebars and a key....

The data is just key data, so you can delete that as there isn't meant to be a key for this, it got included when I was running some tests.

The problem we have at the moment, is that when you update, you lose all of your created messages, which I can't do anything about

Hi Maiden

What I do is make a copy of all the messages in NOTE PAD and "save them"
So if need to do a reinstall of a new version you can then add all the messages again

Not sure you meant to tag me @xsteveuk. That's what I do too

I'm asking for slightly different things with regards to Peter's planned upgrade -whether a massage is collapsed or not to be remembered on a user key (and will love him forever if he makes a version like that!) Have no problems updating

Peter, is there a way to place this Global Messages bar underneath the News Feed? I've been trying to find ways to re-order it in the Home page layout but to no avail. If not, is this feasible to include in subsequent editions?

Thanks for all your effort and work! It was just what my forum needed.

(BTW, I'm new to this forum and just discovered these amazing plugins, so I'm in quite a world of wonderment right now. They've helped our community out TREMENDOUSLY.)
