Hi, I think you may have to remove the previous version 2.2.1 Then download and install the updated version 2.3.0 I tagged Peter who will reply when sees post Steve That is just too much complication. I have three separate message areas, with each one aimed at different groups. Cutting and pasting that lot of information would take an age and life is simply too short to do that sort of thing every time there is a minor update. I think I will stick with 2.2.1 until the Forum conversion at the end of the month. I will then install the latest version and wait for some simpler way of doing updates. It is not just this plug-in, but plug-in updates in general. The more information you put in them the more time consuming updating them becomes. What i done was save all the main messages I need to note pad so if I need to reinstall when the upgrades are complete I have them all saved so can enter them again I agree if could just install an update without having to enter all your own data again would be great I guess it just the way the plugins work at the moment... Hi Peter, Great Plugin, is allowing me to use that space easily. I was wondering if it would be possible to make the messages collapsible (like your shoutbox and quick reply plugin)? As if we start using it for staff messages and things some people could end up with quite a few. Thanks! Thanks Hi PeterAny chance that this could also be collapsible? (Loving the collapsible right now lol)

Hey,
When I first put this up, I was able to get multiple messages to show up. IE: I could have one set for everyone to see, one set for just logged in users, and one to specified users. But now, only the one for everyone to see is showing up. I've tried switching the order around in the plug-ins, but not having any luck.

You should be able to set a message who to see GUESTS Who to see LOGGED IN USERS Or set for a SPECIFIED USER Have you created the messages and then selected who to show the message too! for each of the messages and saved changes

Yup. Tried all the different settings, be it everyone, guests, or logged in users, and then gone down and put the specified users, but only the one that's set to "everyone" without any specified user is showing up.

Most of my codes are with the yootil library, and none of them are having any issues.
And no, disabling the others doesn't affect it.

This plugin is brilliant, just what I needed.... Is there any chance it could be set so that you can choose which member group see's the messages?
Cheers
