I'd like to use images for the categories. how do i get rid of the bg color behind it?

Does this plugin allow the admin to choose which categories are collapsable/expandables?

I used the code above on my old forum, and is looking for a pluin like it. I had the Generel Category to be allways open and all the others were collapesed by deafult.

I love this plugin. It not only makes the site easier to navigate but it also enhances theme backgrounds.

How can I have the option of making collapsed category bars the default on our site?

I've been asking about this all day and finally (I think) found the right place to get that information.

Is there a way to set it so that it defaults to closed/collapsed categories the very first time you see them? Right now, I believe they are opened the first time you view the forum as a guest and I think it makes a poor impression

Will do. They seem to be functioning perfectly to me, though I'm not a first time user so I can't tell if that feature is working or not. Perhaps someone else could tell me who has never viewed my site? www.alcryst.proboards.com/ if they're all collapsed when you look, it's working =D

They're all collapsed for me, so it seems to be working. I'm glad it is still working for you, that's what I was actually more concerned about: whether or not it would continue working normally for those who have already been using it.

The plugin has been tested and updated on the official plugin library, and since a lot of people were wanting the default collapsed categories feature but probably don't know about this update...I'll just tag everyone in this thread.
