Jordan For some reason this plugin doesn't work on the current default theme at delusional.freeforums.net

Stinky666 advised me to let you know, because its one of his themes.
Is there a patch maybe, that could be put in place to get this plugin to work on my forum? (I'm a lazy scroller) and find your plugin, very useful!

I'll take a look, but did the previous plugin version work on the default theme, or is this the first time you have used the plugin with this theme?

Also, could you or Stinky666 link me to where I can download that theme?

Thanks, and the problem is most likely that you made a few changes to the category/board structure so my code doesn't find the categories. Shouldn't be too bad to fix.

I fixed it, but one simple template change must be made to your theme.

v1.0.4

One problem was a bad coding decision I made since I was being too specific with a JQuery selector. However, a template change is going to be needed because the plugin looks for the board new/old icon cell to see if a category contains a new post. You did the right thing and commented it out since your template doesn't require it, but to make it work with this plugin it would be best if you added it back and just used style="display: none". You can see what I mean below.

ok so jordan, the updated plugin has now been installed on delusional.freeforums.net thanks for that, and yup it works fine. it makes my forum a whole lot easier to look at when they're closed.

Glad you like it.

You'll need to do this if you want the plugin to let you know if a new post exists within a collapsed category. You'll have to remove the <!-- and --> and then add the style="display: none".

It was aimed at both of you since you've already downloaded the theme, so if he made a change it wouldn't effect you.

The theme you are seeing, the default is the only theme that this plugin doesn't work on.
