Request Plugin

The ability for members when creating a post
To be able to select from a drop-down list a background image

That would say something like image 1 clouds, image 2 paper, image 3 leaves, image 4 sea, image 5 winter

A list of 5 options to choose a background image from the drop-down menu
That would display the selection on the posting once it is submitted..

If no image is selected it just post the default setting

Made some good progress, but I don't have time to finish so I should be able to get it to you tomorrow.

By the way, do you want the background image for the entire row of the post (meaning behind the avatar and the message), or just where the user's message appears?

Not to hi-jack this thread, Steve, but I DO like this idea. Taking it a step further -- I wonder if it's possible to see a particular bg say in a faded type image ... a bg that appears without choice 'automatically' in different categories?

Example:

Cat 1: NFL image
Cat 2: NBA image
Cat 3: NHL image

etc ...

With the way user interface components work, it's definitely possible and very easy to do now.

Not sure how far Jordan wants to take it, but you could have a ton of options for this type of plugin.

Sweet, Peter. That's good to know. From the sounds of all things v5, if you can think of it, it is definitely possible -- more than we have ever known here at PB.

I guess we could add background image size to the option - Ha more work on Jordan

As Peter says so many options could be added - I was just wanting the option to make it easier
to choose a image background from a drop down list but I'm all more options I guess it depends
On how far Jordan wants to take it

Once the library launches the plugins with the most options and easiest interfaces will rise to the top. Just sayin'

Or perhaps an option show image background behind avatar yes/no
