sunshine , Very low chance it being Yootil, but please link the forum. Explain the steps to recreate it as well please (is it any link opened in a new tab?). hi there, thank you for responding! i am not really sure what else it could be if not yootil as it only started happening after they updated yootil and it only happens on that forum D: i have yootil on my forum as well but ours has not been updated yet to the newest version and it does not happen to me there. the forum is whiskerwick.boards.net and somehow it is not every link but almost every link? for example i have just gone to the home page and control-clicked on three random boards to open them in new tabs and two of them didn't open but one did. there is no apparent pattern as one that will open sometimes will not open other times. if one won't open i can click it a million times and it still won't open, but sometimes if i click on a different link and then go back to the one that wouldn't open it will open. and what i mean by "won't open" is that the tab pops up for about a millisecond and then closes itself immediately. thank you for any advice you can offer!

OK thanks. Here I thought they were two different things. Then someone informed me I had two of the same plugins running on my site at the same time. So, I'll go check it out at your link. It sounds out the Yootil is the current one and the one with the "Library" is outdated and must go. I'll see. Thanks for popping in here so fast Peter

Skidjit, They still use the same plugin ID, so you would have been asked if you want to import the settings from the older version. You may have selected "No" by mistake, and this would be the reason for 2 of them

I think I have it all squared away on all of my sites. I clicked yes, this time and deleted the old version. Thanks for the help Peter and the plugin.

Hi all,
I have installed the Yootil on our forum and it looks like is working fine, as intended - we are still in the testing phase tho'
I have a question, please
I see in the bottom right corner, some extra 3 buttons, I assume they are also part of the Yootill bar...
the switch account, switch forum and account settings - which I think they are great and very useful as well
my question is how can we change the location of those little three buttons to someplace else, like on the middle right of the window?
the reason is that some of us, starting with me, but not only me, we're using some browser extensions that also have a lower display bar - like for example in chrome, the "FoxClocks" or similar
thus, using and enabling those type of extensions will also place a bottom bar and it will overlap with the Yootil bar and buttons, all this making it hard to access those buttons, hence will be nice to be able to move them someplace else...
similar like we have with the Monetary system, we can move those buttons (bank, the stock market, gifts/trades, etc.) and it works fine, we moved on the left side, all good there...
but, how can we move the buttons in the bottom right? this is my question...
thank you

Ghiby, That bar is nothing to do with Yootil. Yootil has its own for plugins, ProBoards has its own for the things you mentioned. You will need to tweak the position with some CSS. Best thing to do, is ask in the support board.

Best thing to do, is ask in the support board. thank you for following up with me on this, I had a feeling it may not be part of the Yootil, but I wasn't sure, so thanks also for confirming this... on my end, personally, I know and I found ways to get around it, since the browser extensions are also adjustable, and we can move that bar as well, within the browser, or as you mentioned tweaking it with some CSS but I was also asking on behalf of some of our forum users who are not so computer savvy and able or inclined to get deeper into making that kind of adjustments... but, we'll manage, it's all good... Yootil is a great plugin, by the way, we love it... thank you for it...

You can easily move the bar up a little using some CSS like so...
/** Move it up. Change 5px to whatever you feel is needed **/
#pbn-bar-wrapper {
bottom: 5px;
}
/** add bottom border **/
#pbn-bar {
border-bottom: 1px;
}

With the changes on Github, is 2.0 going to be released in the future?

With the changes on Github, is 2.0 going to be released in the future? In the future yes. It's not aimed for a v5 release, however it does work on v5 but requires polyfilling due to it using ES6 syntax (transpiling only gets you so far). A lot could still change in the code base once plugin authors know more about the v6 JS API and final HTML structure.
