I believe this is officially in the list of things that VS Admin is going to get added to proboards.data for us coders. It's not as simple as it seems since a user can have multiple user groups.

In the mean time, I'll see what I can do. Peter will have better luck than myself since I'm busy though.

I've had no time for any programming this weekend, but some updates will be done this week and will think about adding in some of the requests.

For the member groups, I think I asked Patrick for that stuff (or hopefully they will add it anyway), so I probably won't try and implement it myself for now.

So you just want me to modify the route name in the ProBoards data object?

My only problem with modifying that, is it could cause issues within the ProBoards object, as it's used in various places, so not sure what effect it would have. 

What else would you want in there?

Ah, good point. Didn't think of that.

Any functions further down the chain applying only to that page would be nice. Going off the example, you'd expect the container only to show up on the newly created page, but since the page function returns just yootil.create, that isn't the case. It's likely a bit harder to implement than I think it is though, so no big deal if you decide to keep it as-is.

Or you could add in another argument that allowed a function to be called on that page, and that page only. That might be easier, and provide a built-in location check so you don't have to change the route name either.

Storage class completely rewrote, now supports session and persistent storage.

I need to do testing with it for other browsers (*looks at IE 7*), and update the docs at some point.

Just wondering but why are there two functions that seem to do the same thing? This is under location check

Also, could you guys possibly create storage functions for storing things in local storage and whatever other type of storage works with IE 7 that will stay longer than just the one session??


Boy am I smart...I should probably read the last post on a thread before posting Do you think you could post an example of setting storage that will not end at the end of a session? I don't think i quite understand how it works

One last thing, do we have permission to download the JS file? I am interested in trying to add a few functions myself which I would then submit to you guys (don't worry I will NOT claim the code  ). Chances are I'll never actually get anything, but I at least want to try

I loose the format icons with this plugin. I've using FireFox 17.0.1.

After having problems with this plugin before I created a new template for testing yootil, reset all templates and styles to default, removed all other plugins, set Firefox to disable all addons, installed yootil and lost the format icons for posting or replying.






With yootil off:











With yootil on


I get the same problem when Lion Rules installed and check or uncheck, which worked fine except for the no format icons issue.

Any suggestion as to why I loose the format icons when I install yootil after returning all templates and Style sheet to default and disabling all addons in FF?

The weird part is that when I use Opera 12.11 with yootil ticked in Plugins the format icons appear and work.

I'm running Avast, but if it was the problem then Opera shouldn't work properly.

I'd love to use the Lion Rules System with yootil, but I'm going to leave it unchecked for now as I need the format icons.
