Ok I cleared my cache in FF and Opera.
In FF I get the following numbers: 1, 6, 7, 8, 11, 2, 3 - in that order

And in Opera, I get the same, with an additional number at the end: 4

Very strange.

So in Opera it's fine?

Yeah, weirdly it works fine in Opera for me (bank loads, it shows the bank icon - in FF it does neither of those).
Not getting any popups now

I've commented out the line that adds to the plugin bar, I think that could be the cause.  Try now, should get 1 alert.

Are you able to open the Error Console?

Can you install this addon, then open it, load the forum and tell me what errors show...

Install firebug if you can...

When installed you should see a little bug in the bottom right corner, click on that, goto the console, and refresh the page.

I have reloaded many times, but the console keeps saying

Ok so.. I have disabled everything then enabled JS warnings, JS errors and CSS errors..
"Firebug's log limit has been reached. 340 entries not shown. "

Then with CSS errors disabled: it seems to not find anything haha

Ah wait, i downloaded the one for FF 17 onwards. My FF is only version 15.
Installed that one, restarting now.

The problem is the sidebar plugin, there is errors with it.

To make sure the Monetary Plugin works, please move it above the sidebar and post back

Peter, I just tested the release that works for FireFox 15, but it showed no icon in the bottom right, so i have upgraded to FF 19 and re-downloaded/installed the version that is newest of Firebug.

I think the issue is Firefox 15, am downloading a portable version to test.

Edit:  Nope, works fine in that version as well.
