I have the admin account here. I was reduced to $100 earlier today from $1700. It bumped back up to somewhere like $2000, and I had been actively posting since then. I had assumed my co-mod forgot to deduct my money when I realized it was so high, so I brought it down myself, this time to $600. Earlier this evening, we noticed I had $2200, and I certainly had not made enough posts to get that high. I brought myself down to $1100, which by my calculations was the correct value starting from $100+all the posts I had made, and within a few minutes I was at $2250 without making any new posts. I brought myself back down to $1100, and now I'm at $1200, which is correct, but I wouldn't be surprised if my account hopped up to $2300+ when I'm not looking.

Basically, I think the plugin isn't keeping the edits where we deduct money? I'm not sure what's causing that to happen. No other accounts are having the same problem. It's happening to the other admin accounts and normal accounts too.

One of our members figured out what was going on. If we have multiple tabs open, whenever we post again, it'll add the money value to the "current" value we had in that tab, therefore undoing manual money adjustments. (Or, in another member's case, he kept losing his money even as he accumulated posts because he opened a million tabs first thing and never refreshed them.)

For RP purposes, like if you have a shop on your forum that members can buy upgrades for their characters etc. They earn their 'play money' by posting and can spend it later. Thus, a plugin is required to do so, before in V4 you just used a code to do so.

I'm not sure if this problem was already pointed out or if anyone else is even having it...but the feature to disable money earned for certain members, categories and boards is not working for me. I disabled a couple categories and several boards and money is still earned when posted in them. I also disabled my admin account from earning any money...and it still does with each post.

Hello, I was interested in trying out this code however I was wondering if their was anyway to setup more then one area for this? Their is a Money Pak that I am using on my normal forum and it allowed us to name our "money" various things as to have different areas of it, my board relies rather heavily upon the fact of having 3 different areas for points, such as Ammunition, Infection Level & Creative Points [zombie site] and we use this almost everyday. I was instructed by another member here to come here and ask and see if you could add this feature in, if not I can request a new one & sorry for bothering you upon the subject at hand. If your would like a example of what I'm talking on you can look at my profile Here. The old code wont work in V5 so that's why I'm reaching out for some help~

If you don't need a plugin/code that updates the information with each post such as the money system allows then you could just simply use the built in feature which allows you to create custom fields for the profile/mini-profile that can be edited and used however you wish.  I'm not sure how your site works or how it is run...but I don't think any of those that you listed increase or decrease with each and every post...but I could be wrong.  If not then you could just create the custom fields.  In order to create a custom field you can find it by going to "Admin Home" then click on "Members" and then click on "Custom Profile Fields" - it should be an image with an ice cream cone.  Then you can set the name and properties of the custom field and they will be there for editing when you modify a profile.

Yeah I don't rely on the posting count~ We just do it based on topics & other various things~ but thank you! that helped me perfectly~!

I have a question that has to do with the mini-profile displaying the "Money" area. Is there a way to force it to not be directly above "Personal Text"? Even if I move it to a specific spot in my template it wants to force the personal text to go directly below it.

For instance:

Installed this plug in last night and it's so much easier to use than the version 4 I had. I look forward to new options opening up. Thanks for giving us a great plugin. 

My one question is about the bank itself. As Admin I deposited 10,000 in that account. It seems then that everyone has that 10,000 in their bank account to start. They can withdraw without me losing mine but my question is : will all money that I deposit show up in everyone elses bank.
