Monetary System 0.9.6 [Updated: 1st Dec, 2015]

Hi Peter ,

I just finished reading through all 42 pages of this thread and while this question has been asked multiple times, there seems to be no answer: Is there any way at all to have multiple currencies? This was such an easy thing to do on previous PB versions that I've come to take it for granted but am really, really desperate to get this feature back.

While it could be possible, it's not something I will be doing.

What I suggest is that you wait until the plugin becomes more stable (i.e less bugs), and then ask another coder to modify it to support multiple. The source will be fully open, including the plugin.

One of my members is apparently having a problem where the counter actually goes down. At first we thought it might have been because she has multiple tabs open on the forum all at the same time, but it has happened twice now.
I attached a screenshot that she took showing what happened. It's probably something stupid that I'm doing, but I thought I'd post it here just in case. Thanks for the plug in

It sounds like she had a tab open on the reply page of a topic for a while, and then posted in another tab, and then reused the old tab to post a reply, as that is the only way it would go down between posting.

Please ask her to use only 1 tab for the forum when posting, and to make sure it's not an old tab that has been sitting there on the reply page, as it will contain old data.

Something odd is going on with at least one of our accounts on our site, here. The account has $66, although it should only have $13 (Neither the main admin or I have made any changes to the money, and we're the only two with the power to do so). Also, I made a post in a board that I know technically has earning enabled, with that account, and it still has the same amount as it had before I posted.

We currently have version 5.2, we updated just a few days ago, and the settings are $2 for every started thread, and $1 for every reply (With quick replies being the same, and enabled).

The attachments are the account profile before and after I made that test post, showing that the amount didn't go up.

We've been going through a few more accounts, and found another that didn't add up. (And there might be a few more, but we're working slowly to make sure we don't miss anything that might trigger it). This account has $7, but should only have $5. We think this is because of one thread that she started on a disabled category yesterday, but it makes no sense either, because a post on that same category about 15 minutes earlier didn't earn money. (And this category's been disabled for four days or so, with no changes to the plugin or any codes since the 10th).

Another account that seems to only have a permission error, but as with the one before, another thread on the same board (Without any code changes between the time this one posted and when the other account posted) didn't make any money off with it.

So, from the post beneath mine, it seems that bug isn't completely worked out yet, about disabled boards, so that's probably what the above two cases are. However, the first one still makes no sense... She hasn't even -made- enough posts yet to be that high up!

Thanks. I did see your post that you posted on the 15th, but I just haven't had time to go through and respond to everyone yet.

I will hopefully be working on the plugin tomorrow, so I will try and get around to testing the permission side of things. I know something change a while back on ProBoards end that broke it, so maybe there has been some other minor changes.

Not sure if you have had a response to this.

Editing money was given a bit of a recode in 0.5.3, and that kinda disabled people with permission from editing their own money, especially the main admin.  I will be changing this to allow the main admin, and most likely in the future I will change it so that you can set who is allowed to edit money. 

As for the permissions with boards and categories, am guessing something has changed, so I will be looking into that tomorrow most likely.

Not sure if someone has already replied, but just incase.

This is an issue with the recode I done for 0.5.3, no one can edit their own money, this will change in the next update (0.6).
