Peter Help!

The previous credits "bank" page disappeared. I updated to the new version, and the bank page is still not available.
Bank page is only visable to registered users. www.slotomaniafriends.com

I've also has a few reports of posts not giving credits come up...

The server that these things are hosted on appears to be down. Any custom page generated by the plugin is currently unavailable (for whatever reason) and can/will only be made available once either the plugin author fixes the issue or proboards does (if it was caused by something they updated.)

It is not a huge issue, the rest of the plugin appears to be functioning.

Just let peter have some time to work on it.

guys this is stupid to ask I know but I just do not know how

The other day I noticed a pop up in my forum for the first time that a plug in..."The Monetary System" needed to be "updated to a newer version" and I chose to wait as I was working on the forum at the time I noticed the little drop down message

now my current version stopped working properly,  get a message on both menu items that states "we couldn't find the page you were trying to access" and gives a link to return to my forums home page...so this translates to the bank page and stock market pages on my forum are not working now...

How do I update the version of the plug in I am using for the Monetary System without losing all the data that was put in there the last 2 weeks?

any help would be most appreciated

It's not caused by you using an old version its caused by an issue with wherever its hosted itself

so I updated the plug in and the related data is still there in the Gold shop but the two pages are still not accessible my forum is here

There is an issue with where it's kept right now. It's gone down we can assume and as thus nothing related to it will load because it can't access the 'information'. Peter - aka the person who coded the money hack - will be on at some point to deal or explain what happened.

ProBoards has broken the Bank and Stock Market pages

Before, if you access a page that didn't really exist, it would just load the forum, but now they actually show a 404.

How annoying.

Am waiting on a reply. Depending on what the response is, I may need to push out an update today to change the URL's for the bank and stock market to use a query string instead.

Ok, decided to release an update for the 404 issue, as I don't know if it's intentional by ProBoards or not.

0.6.2 is available for download from first post. I have submitted it to the library as well, so be patient if you prefer to install via that.

Update your navigation links to now be "/?bank" and "/?stockmarket". See the section in the first post relating to this, it contains a screen shot if you aren't sure.

Peter, I recall a problem with that approach affecting a few plugins (e.g redux) that looked at the route name and saw "home" but got unexpected content instead thus rendering the route useless. This could be quite possible why that change was made. The custom page URL (/page/bank) might prove to be a more reliable method since it offers a themed forum page for manipulation whether that particular page exists or not and also preserves the integrity of route
