You would need to combine both the regular image and the hover image together into one image, stacking the regular image on top and the hover image on bottom. Each final image must share the same height. Your menu height in the plugin settings would need to be set to half the height of your final combined images.

Then you'd need to add this CSS to the bottom of your style sheet.

#navigation-menu > ul li a > div { background-position: top center !important; }
#navigation-menu > ul li:hover a > div { background-position: bottom center !important; }

I haven't tested it but it should work if done right.

That one URL should be your combined image after you've edited the actual image file to contain both images.

For example, here's the home image if I wanted it to change to a blue house on hover:

Look at my example image I posted. It's a single image. You combine both images into one just like in my example image.

Oh so when the hover is activated it will either show the top or the bottom image in the allotted space?

Looks good, lost the notification  bubbles. Not entirely but essentially.

I tried changing the radius, but it only shows before the images load.

I also have a member on firefox seeing the double image instead it the toggled one

I'm on Firefox and I only see one image at a time per button (with the exception of the login and register buttons which you seem to have missed).

Which image?

Is your user on the latest version of Firefox? Like I said, I use Firefox and I've experienced no such issues.

Also, did you add the CSS I provided in this post to all of the themes using those buttons or just one? It needs to be done to all of them in order to work.
