I like the whole bookmark feature .. where it will email you when someone responds to a bookmarked thread. However, would it be possible to have the same idea in place but text you?

Unfortunately this isn't possible right now. We aren't supporting text message alerts. However, nearly every smart phone will alert you about your email. So just set your phone up with your email and you'll receive the notifications the same way on your phone.

I'm wondering if there's a 3rd party way at this point .. that would text you similarly to having it email you? If not, email will work just fine.

Some phone providers give text based email addresses

For example with ATT, you can email [e-mail] and the email is sent as a text.

If you set that up as your email address, notifications would be sent to that email, which in turn would text you.
