Example of HTML to put into plugin for affiliates rogcar751) You have to have an image hosted on the internet. If you don't make your own could ask for something from the Graphics area here or anywhere else of your liking 2) Every website that has the option of affiliating will supply you with their own code. Typically everyone has an affiliate board with everything you need, as well as any specific rules they have for affiliating with them.

Thank You, Nori I have images saved for the internet, thats not a problem, but when i use them from a site that hosts the image, they give a code to use, but when i exert the code in the appropiate space provided and all, when you click on the image once its installed in the plug-in, it takes you to the hosting site, and not the affiliates site. Its prolly something i done wrong, not sure. But your help is greatly appreciated.

Mmm k. If I'm understanding you correctly you're saying that when you grab the affiliate banner from someone else and put it into your plugin, when clicked on your home page it sends you off to something like Tiny Pic, Photobucket, or some other image host?
If the above is correct all you need to do is go into your html in the plugin and change the 'a href' equal to the site the image should be linking to. Normally if a site is setup properly for affiliating they will provide you with all the code you need to affiliate, or if they have this plugin you can just select their banner that is beside the scrolling section and a popup will appear which you can just copy-paste the code.
Since this plugin automatically resizes banners anyway... the only thing you really need is the 'a href' and 'img src'. So your code could be as simple as:
Replace red bits with proper links of course. If you're still having problems or if I misunderstood you could just post what the code is and then we can help with that specifically to see what's going wrong.

You're very welcome. I'll take a look into that theme request and suggest to anyone I know who may be interested.
Good luck!

Hi, I'm having some issues with this. How do I shrink the size of the table? ( I dislike the massive blank space on the right hand side of my forum's banner) ... Forum URL: createituk.boards.net I am still after some assistance ... I want to change the width of the whole table, and also remove the spacing of my forum banner on the right hand side. ~asht0n91.

In the plugin management, go to the settings tab of this plugin and change the value of 'Table Width', adding 'px' or '%' to the end as you require. Personally I am having difficulty with the '%' option so have had to use the set pixel width despite my forum being a % width. Not sure if this is for everyone or just myself but I also haven't gotten an answer to my inquiry about it so...
The spacing will remove itself depending on the size of your table and/or how many affs you have I think, as my table does not have any spacing between it and the aff banners.

I think I got a defective affiliate table. I've tried adding this code, <a href="http://www.runescapedirectory.com/" target="_blank"><img src="http://www.runescapedirectory.com/images/runescape-directory88x31.gif" alt="RuneScape Directory" width="88" height="31" border="0" /></a> and nothing showed up. cats-eye.boards.net/

apologies for my lack of a faster response. i'm on a semi-hiatus and i'm unsure of when i will be able to offer any support for any of my plugins.
i sincerely apologize for any inconvenience(s) this may cause.

This plugin appears to be leaking it's contents into the meta tags for the search engine. I've removed one affiliate logo, and the next in line took it's place as the problem. I've made the affiliate table wider, and the next logo took it's place again. Could the code be checked?

So... has anyone gotten this thing to work on % width? It's not working properly for me. Not appearing on home page and when it does it puts a background on the screen. Width wise it says % or px but I find it works better on px (1000px for example).

I've never gotten it to work on % width, which is very annoying for a forum that has a % width... Issues still as I posted a while ago and never got answered. If I could look at the build part of the plugin I could maybe fix it, but unfortunately we can't so!
When on % width the width doesn't increase as it should, only taking up about 600px ish no matter the width of the forum, and:
Is still a neat plugin for marquee on a forum that has a set px width.
I haven't had the same issues as you though. Are you using in the ' <div id="aff_side_table"></div> ' to put it somewhere specific or just leaving it alone and letting it sit at the bottom of the forum? It should put in a title bar and a board background for the space it inhabits.
