Okay, I'll get everything for you. Also what do you mean you want it to start in first category? Like that's what the default category is?

How can I make it so there's only four categories in each row? Shorty, do you have any ideas?

I'm not sure if this is a problem with your plugin, a bug in PB, of if I've messed up coding somewhere. When I'm in a Thread or viewing a Board and click on the Category tab in the white-colored menu bar (clicking on the second item from left in the Menu bar) always takes me back to the Category I've set as the default (the red text indicated in coding for the Home template), instead of the Category indicated in the white navigation bar and which I've clicked. For example, when I click on Help Please tab on the main page it opens the Help boards as the code should. Then I click on a board displayed in the board list, Editing, for example, and it opens properly. The white menu bar indicates Forum Name > Help Please > Editing. I then click on a Thread, Finding Editors, for example, and the white menu bar now reads Forum Name > Editing > Finding Editors. (Help Please has disappeared.) Now comes the problem. When I click on Editing in the white navigation bar the plugin returns me to the Editing board as it should. The white menu bar now reads Forum Name > Help Please > Editing, BUT when I click on Help Please the program returns me to the default Category and displays the Boards in it. When I move my mouse over Help Please it drops down the list of boards within the Help Please category, so that works fine. Ideas as to why this is happening? Here's a link to the forum.... It's happening because it's taking you to the home page(which the default category shown is ebooks(i think)). So it's showing the default board. It's working as it should. Sorry, but I have no idea how I would go about fixing that.

Love this code and it's going to make thing ten times easier for me! (: I have a couple of questions though. Could I please have a code that would allow a line break? It doesn't look right with all the categories lined up. Also, I've tried everything I can think of (although I have a feeling I've missed something obvious because I'm tired) to change the colour of the category names in the CSS and I just can't get it to work. :/ Shorty

Hey Shorty I guess I'll deal as is Its not that hard. BUt I have a Q how do we know if a category has new posts?
What is that bit of code to create a Line Break to make it two rows like on my default. I at first glance want it to look the same?

Hi Shorty I just wondered if there was any way to have this and also the normal category stacked down display on the home page (default category look)? Thanks

Hi Shorty I just wondered if there was any way to have this and also the normal category stacked down display on the home page (default category look)? Thanks You could create another theme - name it something like Stacked View - using the Easy Theme Creator function and then replace the Tabbed Categories code with the default code. Members who wanted the Stacked View could then set that as default on their Profile page. There is probably a way to move the Forum Theme drop-down box in Profile to the navigation bar or somewhere on your Home page, if that is something you'd want, so snoop around in the templates and see what happens.

XaviEo & Lainey as for the line break. Find this part of the Home template: <table width="100%" style="margin-bottom: 1px;" class="tabbedcategories"> <tr> {foreach $[category]}<td {if $[category.name] != "General"}class="tabbedtd" {else} class="tabbedtdactive"{/if} id="tdid"><a href="javascript:void(0)" class="$[category.id]" style="text-decoration:none;" onclick="showCat(this.className)"><div width="100%" height="100%"><h2><font size="3">$[category.name]</font></h2></div></a></td> {if $[category.id] == 5}</tr><tr>{/if}{/foreach} </tr> </table> And add the red. Change the number to whatever the category id is of the tab that you what it to break after. Hope that makes sense.
