Banner text shadow

When adding a full width banner, and with no logo set, the name of the forum appears over the banner, this can be removed in easy theme creator, but it leaves a shadow behind, currently you have to go into visual editor to remove the shadow, it would make sense to be able to remove the shadow in 'easy'


On the subject of visual editor, could the main headings be collapsible too, saves a lot of scrolling to view the visual

The reason the shadow is left behind is because you didn't remove the title in the Easy Theme creator. You simply turned it transparent. It's still there, casting a shadow.

However as this is the Feature request board, it raises the issue of an easy way to disable the forum title. We're currently discussing options for this. It could be a s simple as us coding the shadow to disappear when you make it transparent. Or maybe we add an option somewhere. Or maybe drop shadows just don't exist on conversion any more. We'll figure out a solution. Stay tuned.

I don't see a way to remove the name in easy, i am guessing if the name is removed from forum settings, it will also disappear from navigation

I discussed this with the dev team. What we are most likely doing is adding drop shadow control to the ETC. Then you can control the shadow which will be nice anyway. And if you hide your title you can hide the shadow as well without needing to go to the Color & Styles area and searching.

Adds functionality for you guys and is the quickest and simplest way for us to implement it.

As the making transparent doesn't work in IE, what about in the logo there is an option for 'remove name from banner/logo' that adds a 1x1 gif as i did
