Or if the nav tree could come down with the 'pagination bar' (I think I saw someone call it? Fave V5 feature so far I think!) Or back to top could be added to that might be neat.

$(function(){ var button = $("<div style='float: right; margin-top: 3px; padding: 5px' class='button'>Back To Top</div>").click(function(){ $.scrollTo(0); });
$("div.control-bar").append(button); });
</script>

Oooh exciting Pete, do I put that in the theme stylesheet? Anywhere in particular?
And could I use a similar code to make part/all of my sidebars floating?

That would go into your global header.

Looks good, thanks! but slight problem in that if click on the actions dropdown it also takes you back to the top (and drops down the dropdown)?

A simple way to add a back to top, add this to global header <a name="top"></a>
and add this to global footer <a href="#top">Back to top!</a> If you want an image (button) <a href="#top"><img src="URL OF IMAGE" /></a> You can add <center> tags etc to align it where you want, i just did the basic which is left aligned here as a demo Maybe someone can do plugin or template mod to place that where you want it if you don't like it at the bottom It's quite difficult to spot 'Back to top' at the bottom of my forum. wellies.freemessageboards.com/thread/6900/welcome-wellies-beta

We sure need at back to the top button now there aren't any page numbers at the bottom of threads.

We sure need at back to the top button now there aren't any page numbers at the bottom of threads. The pagination bar scrolls with you down the page. So you don't need a back to top button for that purpose. Additionally we will at some point create a plugin that places a duplicate copy of the pagination bar at the bottom as well. Tim Camara and I are discussing this right now actually (maybe we'll even put a back to top button on the bar).

Pagination - that's a new word, not heard that before.... It's habit I suppose looking for things that used to be present in certain places with v4.5 - like page numbers. Please delete a thread I started about this on the Feature request board.
