Todge the plugin loaded but boy does it mess up the smilies. I tired different sizes for the smilies and no matter what some of them that were the same size it made some okay but then some it made huge. Also my Milman smilies and other tiny smiles it makes them too tiny. Is there anyway to make all the smilies work?

The only other way is to size the smilies in accordance with the boxes, as a percentage rather than a set size, but you'd get the same result. The code will still make the widths of all your smilies the same, so if you have an extra wide smilie, or one that moves horizontally, it will end up looking very small.
That's the only way to stop them stretching the boxes I'm afraid.
If you want to go back to what you had before, do not give the smilies a size, and they will be displayed full size.
Sorry.

Todge, is there a way to add this plug in to the ShoutBox as well? Like aRMY83, we do love our smileys at my board and would love to have the extra smileys in there too!

Thanks Todge! Is there any way to get this to work for Private Messages also? It's working great for me in standard reply and Quick Reply.

Hi Todge. I recently noticed that no matter where I try to put a smiley, it appends to the very end of the post, instead of inline with the text. I use FF 18, but I tried on the most recent version of chrome as well and it does the same thing. It doesn't matter whether you have Visual or BBCode as your default, either. Just thought I'd mention it. Not a deal breaker.

Hello moonbeam...
Same thing with my site and even if I edit that smiley image so that it is inline and then save, I get the same results. I'm wondering if it is a bug in ProBoards beta area and not this plug-in.

I will have to check if it saves properly after editing, but I'm actually on v5 now rather than beta. I AM glad to know it's not just me.

Hello Todge... When using Firefox 17 and clicking on the smiley, I see this: When using IE9 and clicking on the smiley, I see this: Note: these images are from the converted v4.5 to the new v5

Firefox 18 looks like that too. I don't think that has anything to do with the plugin. the smilies in the shoutbox look the same, and the plug-in doesn't effect that.
The updated code now works with personal messages (v1.7.0).
And, unfortunately, to get this code to work in the chatbox would take a lot of rewriting.

I'm not using any smilie code yet, and my smilies went from displaying in a 5-smilie-wide box (yesterday) to a long cut-off horizontal line (this afternoon), like aRMY83 shows in the second screenshot. And I didn't change anything. So it's not the extra code doing this... (currently using Firefox 17.0.1).
Also, when I click the "Import plugin" button and select this plug-in (1.7.0, but did the same with the previous version), I'm getting the following error message:
"Unable to determine plugin export version."
And then it doesn't import anything.

Now I can't see the lines separating the smilie boxes and it appears the border colors and background colors are reversed.
