preview post

I miss being able to preview my post before submitting it. The visual editor doesn't show things the way they will actually appear after the post is saved. The text isn't the correct size, the lists don't line up properly, and all the table borders, which I normally have hidden, are showing. I actually prefer to edit my posts in BBcode and don't want to use the visual editor at all. Is there a way to change the default? And to add an option to preview your post the way it will actually appear?

In your profile, you can set your default posting style to BBCode.

But the visual tab is now your only way to preview. I've never had it not look like it did when it actually posted though, so I'm not sure about that aspect for you.

The visual editor does show things how they will appear. If you are having issues then you need to report them as bugs. We are still in a beta.

You can still easily edit in BBCode mode, just like v4. And then click to Visual Mode the same way you would click Preview. You can also edit your posts if there is something you don't like the look of.

Thanks for the info about making the BBcode the default. So many profile options to choose from! ;D
