Request Plugin New Thread To Rite Of Board Name

Okay. I'll have to think about adding that in. Because the way I'm thinking I have loop through an array inside of an array, and I have no idea how to do that. This might be a while.

It's italics because it's inheriting a style from something else, I can't change this. My suggestion is putting this in the custom CSS.

font-style:normal !important;

As to have it aligned with the top, add this to the custom CSS

vertical-align:top;

Hi tunescool! Just wanted to let you know that I have found a way to add in being able to select which boards are staff editable. I hope it's okay that you can't exactly choose which staff gets it, but it will show only to staff in general. This was the easiest way for me to do this. Here's the new download link.

all boards specified in the whole plugin are good

thanks for all your help and attention throughout the whole plugin

lets just leave it for now but id still like to specify certain staff and members to have certain boards show for. by username would make more sense of what the code should do

maybe a moderator of the forum has no reason to make threads in a forum related board, or you just wanted to grant permission to some regular members the Creaate Thread link to a certain board. or a password blocked board accessible by regular members

yea, i dont have any members that post anyway, but i like having everything done rite away that i may use in the future. its really no big deal anyway, i can wait

come that time, id like you to add the css for top align and normal font to the plugin. it would be useful for anyone else that uses the plugin too. the alignment if they go with a smaller text and if they have the same font style problem. they shouldnt have to deal with issues after installing a new plugin

would you be interested in doing the other Create Thread plugin for the Post Page, if not ill just wait for someone else

Well, that's why I added the custom CSS. Not everyone is going to have to remove the italics, that's forum specific based off of your style settings.

And the top-align, I'll add it as well.

And the other plugin, I'll pass, too much coding :/ I be tired. I'm sure someone else will be more than glad to help.

I would suggest making a new thread for that request though.

i spent a couple days in the colors and styles, there are so many ways that seperate fonts and styles can get connected in v5 without your knowledge or need

like, i made my board names bigger, then i went to set just my board names hover and visited bigger just like the names. but, where youre thinking it just changes the board names hover, it changes the Thread Lists hover at the same time. that happened to me, and my Thread List is a smaller font so i had all this goony looking hover on my threads. this happened in 3 other situations i changed stuff, like my last post cell changed other cells, or the screenames change in other cells sometimes too

its so confusing im sure other people are going to be having these issues all over the place like i did

thats why i think its wise to add the normal font css

Is the hover for you not being right? Is that what you are saying.

I'll add in the font CSS when I add everything else.

And yes I understand where you are coming from about the CSS and how it can be confusing.

you have it Create Thread In Board Description which doesnt say what it does

the name of the plugin should say what it does so when people see it they know what it does

Board Description is misleading

it should be renamed in the plugin

Hey tunescool, just wanted to let you know I have updated this code, I did a complete rewrite. Works the same way. I added the choice of bold text, italicized text, and you can select boards links for everyone to see, and board links for only certain people to see, the top-align is automatic. I changed the name to exactly what you said. Thanks for that! I hope it's exactly what you needed. If you find any problems let me know. I don't think there should be any issues. I tried breaking it every way I thought possible. Good day!
