It looks like you left out the .bbcode bit in the CSS I provided, so it's being overridden again by earlier CSS in the style sheet.

Here's an all-in-one solution that should fix any problems with the previous ones (which can be removed if this one works) and prevent the image from repeating.

.title_wrapper { padding: 0; }
.container > .title-bar.bbcode { background-repeat: no-repeat; }
.container > .title-bar.bbcode h2 { line-height: 30px !important; visibility: hidden; }

^ That's what I was workin' with. XD You were kind enough to help me before with it and it was a charm, but as I put it on the other layout it just... gives me a big 'ol nope.

It looks like that theme is missing the class the CSS I provided is dependent on. Dunno if the author removed it or if they built that theme off of an older one that didn't include it.

Anyways, go to Themes > Layout Templates > Home and make sure Wayward Son is selected in the dropdown at the top. Find this line.

<div class="title-bar"><h2>$[category.display_name]</h2></div>

And change it to this.

<div class="title-bar bbcode"><h2>$[category.display_name]</h2></div>

I just installed the Plugin on my forum and it is working great when I go into my admin account, but when I go into my test account, it shows that only one of the boards is colored, as shown in the screenshot below:



The following is what it looks like from my admin account (user id: 1):



Is this an error on my part, or a Plugin bug?

Hi, Alan Vende , perhaps a silly questions, but is the plugin set that all can see it or just staff/admin?

I have this plugin on one of my themes and it works fine.

All should be able to see it. My member account saw it working correctly on the General Board and not the others, but on my admin account, they were all working fine and nothing was changed in the settings...

...oh, wait: since it's a member account, it has no staff privileges, even though it is tied to my global account with the username of admin on the forum...

EDIT: As far as I can see, it's set to Everyone can see it and on all themes.

Based on your current settings it should only be showing on the theme named PP Default Theme which is not your forum's default.

Oh, right. But then why does the orange show? Shouldn't it not show anything?

I am still working on the theme, though, but why does one color show on different themes?

I'm not seeing any orange as a guest.

The theme in your screenshot is also different from the theme currently set as the default.

I was seeing it as a regular member on one of my test accounts.

I was trying to make it so it was only on one theme, like you did here with the Cave of the Err Bear theme.

EDIT: Also, on the Cave of the Err Bear theme, you have one image in all of the title bars. I have an image in the Title Bar, but how do you make it so it's only one image? I can't find that setting.

Also, I'm on the PP Default Theme on my forum - it's the one I'm working on to make the new Default Theme.

How does it have the same width as the forum? It looks smaller than it. Like the one in the Thread Summary for example:

The forum's width is 940px. Containers always extend to meet the width of the forum wrapper which is what determines the forum's width. My image is 940px wide.

Thanks for the great plugin Brian.

I have a request/question though: Is there a way to see the different category colors when you are looking at the New Posts section?

Our users would particularly love it if we could color the folders to match the category colors: ie, all Category1 is colored purple with your plug-in, and all posts inside Category1 show up with a purple folder. That way, when you were looking at the New Posts page, you could immediately see which posts were in Category1.

That would require a layout template modification. The plugin has no concept of which category individual threads are contained in as the page doesn't provide that information by default.
