I do not know why people are suddenly associating this with Facebook. The comparison is typically being made as a result of likes and status updates, both existed long before Facebook. Everything else is still Forum like in nature. The admin panel of course has the largest wealth of updates. The user experience is largely the same with improvements. We have also already said that we will be offering a "v4 style" theme.

Are you able to give any specific examples of what you see as an issue (you can feel free to PM me if you prefer). We obviously do not wish to alienate anyone, so if we can determine ways for improvements, that is ideal.

Perhaps one day, you and the rest of the Proboard admins will dislike Facebook as much as I.

Actually, I do dislike Facebook.  I'm still coerced into using it due to having friends planning all their events on it though.

Primarily there are two reasons why people hate Facebook. But I don't want to end up in a flame war so I won't post it here.

All I shall say is this, it's how YOU use Facebook that determines the productivity you can get from it, not from how OTHERS use it.
