i enjoy the liking system, but not the way proboards does it. its kinda hard to see. other forums ive been members on since like 2009 have it on the bottom of the post, and it has peoples names. i like that a bit better, it makes the liking system much more noticeable and more people use it. i am glad they have it here at least. but i didnt even know it existed til i saw the thread about it. the 1 like in size 0 font away from the actual post makes it difficult to realize there is a system in place.

As of right now it's unusable on Safari btw, none of the drop down menus even work anymore for some reason.
But I know a great way to fix that: Disable mobile view
The people that want mobile view can buy the app

Oh so there is, I had seen that but never clicked it lol

But anyway, the drop down menus in Safari don't work in the mobile view in your profile, it's impossible to view your notifications.

Hey VS Admin and Martyn Dale, any chance that we can get live notifications? Like on Facebook, I don't have to refresh the page to see a new notification/message has come in, I'm pretty sure the same could be done on here as well right? That would be nice.

This type of thing has been previously discussed, and while we definitely would like to offer a feature such as this, it will not happen in the short term.

i believe i did with that post, but the admin skipped over my suggestion for some reason.  i saw a veteran member state in another thread she didnt even notice it was there either.  its very unnoticeable right now unfortunately.

Forum admins have complete control over the way it's displayed though - if they want to change the text displayed (including size and formatting) it's very easy to do. =]

well I do hope that if it's very easy they will think about it, but does anyone agree that the example I posted is slightly better or more noticeable?
