Select Multiple Files and Participated

I have 2 suggestions which I personally really think would make a difference.


1) When uploading an attachment, we currently have to do the whole "add file" 3 times. Can you make it so we can just click "add files" and then select 3 at once to upload?
Of course if the limit is 3 uploads, then that would be the max amount you can select - if that's even possible?
If not, and people try upload more than the 3, then it just automatically only uploads the 3 first in alphabetical order?



2) I love the participated feature, and do in V4 too. It's extremely useful. But can we have a feature where we can, in a topic under actions, there's an option to "remove from participated", so it removes it from the list, OR it just marks it as read always, or just doesn't show as "new" for participated.



I've participated in some topics I wanna keep on eye on and it's great for that, but then I have posted in some I don't care for other posts.

1) While I am not positive why multi-file selecting is not enabled, I suspect that it has to do with exactly what you mentioned. There is a limit to the number of files you can upload. As such it makes you pick them one at a time. That way it can disable the ability to select more than 3 once it reaches 3. It is very likely a limitation of the uploader itself. I can bring this up in our meeting tomorrow and see if there's anything we can do about it.

2) We've already had lots and lots of requests for Participated features and upgrades. As I've mentioned elsewhere we plan to add options to the participated dialog. That would include a way to Mark things Read as well as some way of removing a thread from your participated list to prevent you from receiving updates. This would all take place in one of our first v5.x updates. Thank you for the additional support.
