I'm not a graphics designer by any means, so I usually do most of my theme work in the Easy Theme Creator. Currently, if I want to specify that a background image is fixed (vs scrolling with the page, which is the default), I have to remember to go to the Colors and Styles page to do so. Seems like it would be simple enough to add the same radio buttons for fixed or scroll under where you add the background image in the Easy Theme Creator too. Is it possible?

Hi moonbeam!!
We can talk about this. The biggest thing here is that we really want to keep the Easy Theme Creator easy. Every time we add another option it adds one more thing to clutter it up. It's tough too, because where does it stop? You want the option for fixed or scroll. But if we add that then someone might think its odd that the alignment options aren't there. I mean the other options are there, why not alignment? So then we Add Alignment and suddenly someone wants to add alignment to the gradients as well.
Have you ever read If You Give A Mouse A Cookie? It sort of that.
You were clever enough to click over to Colors & Styles and find the option. I know that isn't going to be as simple for other members. But there's always going to be a learning curve. We tried to provide the most basic options in the Easy Theme Creator. Background fixed or scrolling sits on the line between something that everyone needs to do no matter how simple and something that only some members will need and they can go find it. I hope you understand where we are coming from on this. It's nice to have discussions with members and explain how we consider things. I hope you understand that we weigh the need for it vs the ability to click to the section where we did provide the options. People can change this already as you found. We will talk about it, but I'm not sure about the outcome. Thank you.

No worries one way or the other, Ryan. I do get where you're coming from. On my end, I thought of it simply because I often find I finish and export a theme, only to have a "d'oh!" moment when I realize I forgot to set it to fixed. Maybe I need to learn to just do it all from the Colors and Styles area instead - right along with html5 and CSS.
