Floating Slide Table

This will display a slide table on the side of your forum that will slide out when hovered over.


Things you can change. (tab = part that sticks out || main = main part of box)

Height
Width
Position Top
Tab text color, background color and image
Main text color, background color and image
Tab content
Main content
Disable or enable left and right boxes
New: Borders


Things you should know.

If you want the letters on the tab to display vertically

Then you have to put a <br /> tag after each letter except for the last on.

You can put anything you want inside the MAIN part of the box. 

Warning: Don't put a table inside the tab, there is already on inside it so putting another one inside will mess the whole thing up.

Neat plugin,

Couple of questions.

I'm using the left one.

It seems to go underneath things like the navbar, banner image and quick reply box?

Is there a way to give the tab rounded corners to match the rest of the forum?

Is there a way to make the background colour of the tab and main content linked to the theme?

Is there a way to make it so you click it and it comes out and then stays out until you click it to go back?

I will be doing a major revision of this, almost rewrite it.

With the revision I will release a version that stays out and in on button click.

rounded borders: I believe I can do that but I haven't tried.

Linked to theme: I can try, but I will probably have to get help from someone.

Okay, sorry it's taking me so long. I did figure out that since the tab is vertical it is nigh impossible for me to get it to inherit from the titlebar of the rest of the forum. This is because the image in title bar is horizontal so when you add that horizontal title image to the vertical tab it looks bad as the image just repeats.

I will update this when I get a chance. I am hoping to get it done by the end of this week.

Is there a way to do it if we just used a colour rather than one of the background images? (I think technically it's just a flat background image?) though yes I can see how that''s tricky!

Aside from the scroll bar (the most important thing for me at the moment) is there going to be a way to do transparent PNG images? I tired on this one and it cut off the transparent part. If not then don't worry too much about it. it's just aesthetics to me and not really that important.

Ummmm it should already support transparent images. Nothing I put in there would restrict that, in fact I don't even think you can ristrict that.

lol well it doesn't restrict it, but it also doesn't show the full picture and it repeats the image. I'll post an image of it later... right now I have some other things to work on.
