You didn't provide a link, so I've got a question. Did you place the other part of the code in the Global Footer? I think that part of the code will keep the Shoutbox from appearing on all the pages.
For in the boards, in the Board Template place the "<div id="move-shoutbox"></div>" above the "{if $[legend]" about line 47. I'm not sure about the other locations. There should be someone who will help you further.

How do I remove this massive gap at the bottom where the shoutbox used to be?

This doesn't work for me. It doesn't show up, it only shows up where it regularly appears.

(which can be placed inside a plugin such as the sidebar plugin). Could you provide a link to the referenced 'sidebar plugin' please?

Does anyone here know how to put it somewhere other then a sidebar? I'm making a new forum, and I'm trying to put the shoutbox into a lil' box that's at the way bottom. Does anyone know how to stop it from going to where it usually appears when it's not moving to somewhere?
EDIT:
I found something...
$[shoutbox] is for moving too <3

Simply go to forum wrapper and add the $[shoutbox] to line 61 (or around that area) and delete the code on line 73! Hope this helps

So, I don't know if I'm doing this wrong but I'd like to move the shoutbox to a completely different page. I don't want it showing at all on the homepage or subsequent threads. I want to move it to a different page and have people be able to click on the page to then join. I've attempted adding the above mentioned script to the global footer (since the shoutbox is at the bottom) and then creating a page to add it to but it isn't working and when the page is created it doesn't show anywhere on the homepage of my forum. If someone who has done this before could kindly walk me through the process that would be fantastic. I've looked everywhere on how to do this but I think I'm failing somehow. Thanks to whoever can help!

Good Morning, I have already taken the steps everyone mentioned in the post.
1-activated the shoutbox of my forum; 2-I installed the Sidebar Redux plugin; 3-paste the following code into the SideBar Redux plugin: <div id = "move-shoutbox"> </ div>; 4-then paste the following code I went to Global Header & Footer and pasted the code into Footer: <script type = "text / javascript">
$ (document) .ready (function () { $ ('# move-shoutbox'). append ($ ('div.shoutbox.container.full')); });
</ script>
But it is not appearing. What am I doing wrong?

There are a lot of extra spaces in the code in your post that weren't in the original code. Do you have the code typed into your global header exactly as it appears in the first post of this thread?

O que estou fazendo de errado? Há muitos espaços extras no código em sua postagem que não estavam no código original. Você tem o código digitado em seu cabeçalho global exatamente como aparece na primeira postagem deste tópico? Eu copiei e colei diretamente não alterei o código.
